OSTEOPATHIC MEDICAL SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS: TUITION ASSISTANCE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE PROVIDED TO STUDENTS FROM THE NORTHWEST FOR THEIR SECOND, THIRD AND FOURTH YEAR OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICAL SCHOOL.
GENERAL OSTEOPATHIC PROGRAM ACTIVITIES INCLUDING PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL GRANTS TO STATE ASSOCIATIONS
OSTEOPATHIC EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL PROGRAMS: OSTEOPATHIC MEDICAL STUDENTS AND RESIDENTS IN THE NORTHWEST NEED OPPORTUNITIES TO INTERACT WITH EACH OTHER AND CURRENTLY PRACTICING DOS TO FORM PROFESSIONAL AND SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS. OVER 80% OF PHYSICIANS COMPLETING A RESIDENCY WILL BEGIN PRACTICE WITHIN 150 MILES OF THEIR RESIDENCY. COMPETITION TO GET AND KEEP RESIDENTS IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES IS GREAT.
