THE ROGUE VALLEY HUMANE SOCIETY PROVIDES COMPASSIONATE CARE FOR STRAY UNWANTED DISPLACED AND ABANDONED ANIMALS AND WORKS TOWARD ENDING PET OVERPOPULATION SO THAT THERE WILL BE NO MORE HOMELESS PETS. WE ARE COMMITTED TO PLACING EVERY HEALTHY ADOPTABLE ANIMAL IN A LOVING LIFETIME HOME TEACHING RESPONSIBLE PET GUARDIANSHIP AND MAINTAINING COMMUNITY SPAY-NEUTER PROGRAMS.

PROVIDE SHELTER AND CARE FOR ANIMALS IN TRANSITION INCLUDING HEALTH CARE SPAYING AND NEUTERING BEFORE ADOPTION AND TRAINING TO INCREASE ADOPTABILITY. WORK WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO RESCUE AND REHABILITATE ANIMALS IN HOARDING SITUATIONS. EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT COMPASSION AND RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS ALL ANIMALS. RVHS IS ALSO COMMITTED TO FINDING THE MEANS TO EXPAND THE CAPACITY OF OUR FACILITY IN ORDER TO ACCOMMODATE THE CATS AND DOGS THAT ARE TURNED AWAY BECAUSE OF INSUFFICIENT SPACE.
OUR CLINIC PROVIDES SPAY AND NEUTER SERVICES TO OUR IN-HOUSE ADOPTION PROGRAM ANIMALS SO THAT WE MAY QUICKLY ADOPT THEM OUT TO LOVING FAMILIES IN A MORE TIMELY FASHION. ADDITIONALLY WE PROVIDE SERVICES IN THE COMMUNITY TO REDUCE POPULATION OF UNWANTED ANIMALS BY ENSURING THAT COMMUNITY ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED. IN OUR CLINIC WE ALSO PROVIDE EXAMS FOR ALL INCOMING ANIMALS AND INSURE THAT THEY ARE HEALTHY.
OUR "BARKING DOGS" AND "KITTY QUICK FIX COMMUNITY CAT SPAY NEUTER" PROGRAMS HAVE ALLOWED RVHS TO HELP SPAY AND NEUTER THE PETS OF LOW-INCOME MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY. IT HAS ALSO HELPED THOSE CITIZENS WHO ARE DISABLED HAVE HEALTH ISSUES SENIOR CITIZENS ON FIXED INCOMES AND THOSE COMPASSIONATE INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE LITERALLY RESCUED AN ANIMAL OFF THE STREET. THEY MAY HAVE MONEY TO FEED THE ANIMAL BUT NOT FOR VACCINES OR ALTERING SURGERY. OUR "ANIMEALS" PET FOOD BI-MONTHLY HOME DELIVERY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR DISABLED OR ELDERLY CITIZENS HELP THEM TO KEEP THEIR PETS IN THEIR HOMES. AS PART OF OUR MISSION RVHS WILL CONTINUE EFFORTS TO MAINTAIN THESE IMPORTANT AND VITAL PROGRAMS FOR ASSISTANCE TO OUR COMMUNITY.
