THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO ENSURE THAT IT PRESERVES AND SHARES THE STORIES OF THE GENERATIONS OF SUTTON AND CHICKALOON, ALASKA, PAST TO PRESENT, THROUGH EDUCATION, ACTIVITIES AND EXHIBITS. COLLABORATING WITH OTHER ENTITIES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY, IT WILL PROVIDE A GATHERING PLACE FOR COMMUNITY SOCIAL EVENTS AND A PLACE TO PROMOTE HEALTH AND WELLNESS OF BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT. THE ORGANZIATION WILL PROMOTE COMMERCE AND TOURISM THROUGH COLLABORATION WITH LOCAL, STATE AND NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS.

ALSO, COLLABORATE WITH LOCAL, STATE AND NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE GATHERING PLACES FOR COMMUNITY SOCIAL EVENTS THAT PROMOTE HEALTH AND WELLNESS OF BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT.
TO CREATE A COMMUNITY-BUILT PLAYGROUND AT THE ALPINE HISTORICAL PARK IN SUTTON THAT STIMULATES THE IMAGINATION AND IS ACCESSIBLE TO ALL CHILDREN. THE COMMUNITY OF SUTTON WORKED TOGETHER AND IN 5 DAYS ERECTED A BEAUTIFUL, SAFE AND INSPIRED SPACE FOR FAMILIES TO GATHER AND FOR KIDS TO PLAY.
