THE MISSION OF THE GHPHS, DBA HARBOR HISTORY MUSEUM, IS TO CREATE OPPORTUNITIES TO EXPERIENCE THE HERITAGE OF THE GREATER GIG HARBOR COMMUNITIES. WE DO THIS BY COLLECTING, PRESERVING, AND SHARING THE RICH HISTORY OF THIS AREA.

MUSEUM EXHIBITS AND RESEARCH LIBRARY: 2 CUSTOM HISTORY EXHIBITS CREATED EACH YEAR IN-HOUSE, 2-3 CUSTOM ART EXHIBITS HIGHLIGHTING PACIFIC NORTHWEST ADULT AND YOUTH ARTISTS; OFFERS A TRAVELING EXHIBIT PROGRAM. THE RESEARCH LIBRARY PROVIDES HISTORY, PHOTOGRAPH, BIOGRAPHY, AND GENEALOGY RESEARCH ONSITE, BY PHONE AND EMAIL REQUEST.
