HOMELESS FAMILY SERVICES IS A PROGRAM OF HOUSING CASE MANAGERS WHO ARE FOCUSED ON WORKING WITH INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES EXPERENCING HOMELESSNESS TO HELP THEM ACHIEVE HOUSING AND INCOME STABILITY. THE PROGRAM FOCUSES ON A RANGE OF POPULATIONS INCLUDING VETERANS, FAMILIES, INDIVIDUALS READY TO WORK, AND THOSE WHO NEED PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING, AMONG OTHERS. HOMELESS FAMILY SERVICES IS THE LARGEST GROUP OF HOUSING CASE MANAGERS WORKING IN OUR COMMUNITY. THEY PARTNER WITH OTHER AGENCIES TO CONNECT CLIENTS WITH EMPLOYMENT, CHILDCARE, EDUCATION AND TRAINING ALL TO FURTHER HOUSING STABILITY AND SOCIAL WELL-BEING.


REFUGEE ASSISTANCE & IMMIGRATION SERVICES (RAIS) PROVIDES A BRIDGE FOR REFUGEES (INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE HAD TO FLEE THEIR COUNTRIES OF ORIGIN DUE TO THE TRAGEDIES OF PERSECUTION AND WAR) FROM THEIR FORMER LIFE EXPERIENCES TO THE NEW SKILLS REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS IN THE UNITED STATES. THROUGH A FOCUS ON ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY, COMMUNITY INTEGRATION, AND A RESPECT FOR UNIQUE CULTURES, HISTORY AND TRADITIONS, RAIS CREATES AN ENVIRONMENT OF COMPASSION AND ENCOURAGEMENT FOR REFUGEES TO FLOURISH.


BROTHER FRANCIS SHELTER ESTABLISHED IN 1982 IS A TEMPORARY EMERGENCY SHELTER FOR BOTH SINGLE MEN AND WOMEN. THE SHELTER PROVIDES LAUNDRY FACILITIES, SHOWERS AND AN EVENING MEAL. THROUGH SEVERAL PARTNERSHIPS AND A GREAT DEAL OF CARING, GUESTS ARE ASSISTED WITH CASE MANAGEMENT, REFERRALS FOR JOB EMPLOYMENT, MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES, AND TREATMENT OPTIONS FOR SUBSTANCE ABUSE.
