THE FAIRBANKS CURLING CLUB'S MISSION IS TO TEACH, DEVELOP, PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE SPORT OF CURLING; TO DEVELOP YOUTH AND ADULT PROGRAMS THAT LEAD TO LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION; TO COORDINATE AND DEVELOP INTERSCHOLASTIC COMPETITION; AND TO TEACH THE SPORT TO THE YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS AS WELL AS INTERESTED ADULTS BY CREATING PUBLIC AWARENESS AND APPRECIATION FOR THE SPORT. IN RECENT YEARS THE ORGANIZATION HAS FOCUSED MORE ON YOUTH PROGRAMS AND TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT THAT HAS RESULTED IN CURLERS FROM FAIRBANKS BEING REPRESENTED ON NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS INCLUDING THE OLYMPICS.
