THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED PUBLIC RELATIONS TO CREATE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE INDUSTRY; TO ENCOURAGE GREATER USE BY THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF THE INDUSTRY'S SERVICES AND EXPERTISE; TO COOPERATE WITH PUBLIC OFFICIALS AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS ON MATTERS AFFECTING THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY; TO FOSTER AND PROMOTE BETTER EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE RELATIONSHIPS; TO PROMOTE SAFETY IN THE INDUSTRY BY WORKING WITH FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL MUNICIPAL AGENCIES IN FORMULATING REGULATIONS FOR IMPROVED QUALITY OF MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS' SERVICES TO THE PUBLIC.
