RVC SEATTLE PROMOTES SOCIAL JUSTICE BY CULTIVATING LEADERS OF COLOR, STRENGTHENING ORGANIZATIONS LED BY COMMUNITIES OF COLOR, AND FOSTERING COLLABORATION BETWEEN DIVERSE COMMUNITIES.

COLLECTIVE JUSTICE - COLLECTIVE JUSTICE IS A RESTORATIVE JUSTICE ORGANIZATION BROUGHT TOGETHER BY A DIVERSE GROUP OF SURVIVORS AND IMPRISONED COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN WASHINGTON STATE. THEY BUILD RESPONSES TO HARM THAT CENTER THE DIGNITY AND RESILIENCE OF ALL PEOPLE, AND HARNESS THE COLLECTIVE POWER OF COMMUNITIES IMPACTED BY THE TRAUMA OF VIOLENCE AND MASS IMPRISONMENT TOWARD CULTURAL AND SYSTEMIC TRANSFORMATION.

CREATIVE JUSTICE - CREATIVE JUSTICE BUILDS COMMUNITY WITH YOUTH MOST IMPACTED BY THE SCHOOL-TO-PRISON-(TO-DEPORTATION) PIPELINE. PARTICIPANTS AND MENTOR ARTISTS WORK TOGETHER TO EXAMINE THE ROOT CAUSES OF INCARCERATION, LIKE SYSTEMIC RACISM AND OTHER FORMS OF OPPRESSION, CREATING ART THAT ARTICULATES THE POWER AND POTENTIAL OF OUR COMMUNITIES.


SUPPORTING PARTNERSHIPS IN EDUCATION AND BEYOND - SUPPORTING PARENTS IN EDUCATION AND BEYOND'S MISSION IS TO TRANSFORM SYSTEMATIC INEQUITIES IN EDUCATION BY ENGAGING FAMILIES, EDUCATORS, AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS IN SYSTEMS CHANGE WORK ON A LOCAL, STATE, AND NATIONAL LEVEL.
