OPERATED A CLUB FOR THE BENEFIT OF MEMBERS AND VISITNG RECIPROCAL GUESTS. PROVIDED VOLUNTEERS AND FACILLITIES TO SUPPORT RACE WEEK ACTIVITIES IN THE CITY OF OAK HARBOR. 75 BOATS WERE ENTERED IN THIS RACE. SUPPLIES FACILITIES AND VOLUNTEERS TO SPONSOR A YOUTH SAILING PROGRAM AND ADULT SAILING CLASSES. PROVIDED SUPPORT FOR BOATERS IN THE FORM OF EDUCATION AND VOLUNTEER LED CRUISES. BUCANEERS GROUP PROVIDED FOOD BASKETS AT THE HOLIDAYS FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITY AND FAMILY GIFTS AT CHRISTMAS FOR UNDER PRIVELEGED HOUSEHOLDS. THEY ALSO HELD A YOUTH FISHING DERBY. BUCCANEERS ALSO GAVE DONATIONS TO CHARITBALE ORGANIZATIONS IN THE COMMUNITY.
