PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS CONSIST OF EXPENDITURES DESIGNED TO CREATE EQUITY, ACCESSIBILITY, PARK IMPROVEMENTS AND ENHANCEMENTS, AND COMMUNITY BUILDING. THE BENEFICIARIES OF OUR EFFORTS ARE THE CITIZENS OF SPOKANE AND SPOKANE COUNTY, AS WELL AS VISITORS TO OUR REGION.THE OBJECTIVE OF OUR GRANT PROGRAM IS TO FUND COMMUNITY DRIVEN INITIATIVES AND PARK DEPARTMENT PROGRAMS THAT ENHANCE PUBLIC PARKS, SUPPORT EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES, AND CREATE EQUITY AND ACCESSIBILITY. GRANTS MADE DURING 2021 HELPED FUND THE DEVELOPMENT OF RIVERFRONT PARK AND PARK PROGRAMS, PROFESSIONAL HORSE TRAINING FOR C.O.P.S. MOUNTED PATROL, AUDUBON PARK IMPROVEMENTS, AND OUTREACH PROGRAMS THAT HELP BUILD TRUSTING RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN AT-RISK YOUTH AND LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT.
