AT FIRST TEE, KIDS AND TEENS ARE LEARNING TO PLAY GOLF ALONG WITH LIFE LESSONS AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS. EXPERTS IN YOUTH DEVELOPMENT, GOLF, AND COACHING CAME TOGETHER TO DEVELOP THE FIRST TEE LIFE SKILLS CURRICULUM. THROUGH THE CURRICULUM, COACHES SEAMLESSLY INTEGRATE GOLF AND CHARACTER BUILDING ACTIVITIES INTO EACH LESSON. AS A CHILD PROGRESSES THROUGH THE FIRST TEE LIFE SKILLS EXPERIENCE, THE ACTIVITIES AND LIFE LESSONS BECOME MORE INVOLVED, HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE BUILD CHARACTER AND BECOME EVEN MORE EQUIPPED TO MAKE GOOD CHOICES ON AND OFF THE GOLF COURSE.

WE TAUGHT FIRST TEE'S LIFE SKILLS CURRICULUM TO 2,900 YOUNG PEOPLE AT 19 MUNICIPAL GOLF FACILITIES IN KING, SNOHOMISH & SKAGIT COUNTY AND PARTNERED WITH 15 LOCAL SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES TO REACH YOUTH WHO COULD BENEFIT THE MOST FROM OUR PROGRAM. ADDITIONALLY, WE TRAIN P.E. TEACHERS BY PARTNERING WITH 189 ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS AND 33 MIDDLE SCHOOLS TO REACH CLOSE TO 175,000 STUDENTS. THESE CONTRACTUAL RELATIONSHIPS ARE WITH THE FOLLOWING 14 SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN WASHINGTON: AUBURN, ENUMCLAW, FEDERAL WAY, HIGHLINE, ISSAQUAH, KENT, RENTON, RIVERVIEW, SEATTLE, SHORELINE, SNOHOMISH, EDMONDS, TAHOMA, TUKWILA, EVERETT AS WELL AS 13 INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS. WE RECEIVED SUPPORT FROM HUNDREDS OF VOLUNTEERS AND ADULT MENTORS TO PROVIDE A 1 TO 4 ADULT TO CHILD RATIO TO EMPOWER YOUTH IN YOUTH-CENTERED AND MASTER-DRIVEN WEEKLY CLASSES EVERY SEASON OF THE YEAR.
