STUDENT GRANT PROGRAM: PROVIDES GRANTS UP TO $3,000 EACH TO SUPPORT COLLEGE STUDENTS RESEARCH IN THE EARTH SCIENCES. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES GUIDANCE DURING THE GRANT RESEARCH PROJECTS. THE ORGANIZATION SEEKS OUT AND DOES BACKGROUND CHECKS ON GRANT APPLICANTS. SELECTING GRANT RECIPIENTS INVLOVES A DETAIL REVIEW OF THE TECHNICAL ASPECTS OF THE RESEARCH PROJECTS.
