THE CASCADE SYMPHONY EXISTS TO NOURISH ITS MUSICIANS AND THE COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING INSPIRING PERFORMANCES OF OUTSTANDING MUSIC, EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH TO CHILDREN, OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG MUSICIANS TO PLAY WITH THE ORCHESTRA, COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS, & TUITION ASSISTANCE FOR SUMMER MUSIC SCHOOL.

CASCADE SYMPHONY PROVIDES A SERIES OF HIGH-QUALITY MUSIC CONCERTS FOR THE PUBLIC. THE CONCERTS ARE HIGH-ENERGY, ENGAGING, AND AFFORDABLE AND REGULARLY ATTRACT A LARGE AND SUPPORTIVE CROWD OF COMMUNITY MEMBERS. EACH CONCERT HAS A CAPACITY OF 700 ATTENDEES, AND IN NON-COVID SEASONS, REGULARLY ARE SOLD OUT. CASCADE SYMPHONY CONCERTS FEATURE AN EDUCATIONAL PRE-CONCERT LECTURE, A PERFORMANCE BY A WELL-REGARDED SOLOIST OR SOLOISTS, AND A POST-CONCERT RECEPTION.
PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR MORE THAN 80 VOLUNTEER, AMATEUR MUSICIANS TO REHEARSE TOGETHER IN A NURTURING, SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT. CASCADE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA PROVIDES ITS MUSICIANS THE OPPORTUNITY TO CONTINUALLY DEVELOP AND DEEPEN THEIR MUSICIANSHIP WHILE PREPARING AND PRESENTING INSPIRING CONCERTS OF OUTSTANDING MUSIC.
CASCADE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH TO YOUTH AND SUPPORT FOR YOUNG MUSICIANS. AN ANNUAL CHILDREN'S CONCERT WITH MUSIC SPECIFICALLY TAILORED FOR YOUNG CHILDREN IS PRESENTED. THE CONCERT FEATURES A YOUNG RISING STAR INSTRUMENTAL SOLOIST(S) ACCOMPANIED BY THE ORCHESTRA. INCLUDED IN THE CHILDREN'S CONCERT IS THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT MUSIC IN A FUN TEACHING SESSION FEATURING CASCADE SYMPHONY MUSICIANS. DURING COVID TIMES THE CHILDREN'S CONCERT WAS OFFERED ONLINE, AVAILABLE TO ALL AT NO CHARGE. CASCADE SYMPHONY ALSO PROVIDES COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS TO HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS INTENDING TO CONTINUE THEIR MUSICAL STUDIES IN COLLEGE.
