MAINTAIN, PRESERVE AND ENHANCE THE BOTANIC GARDENS COMPRISING THE KRUCKEBERG GARDENS, SHORELINE, WA IN ORDER TO PROVIDE THE COMMUNITY WITH A SOURCE OF EDUCATION, CONSERVATION AND ENRICHMENT

COMMUNITY SERVICES - COMMUNITY EVENTS ARE THE PRIMARY FOCUS OF THE FOUNDATION THROUGH FAMILY ORIENTED ACTIVITIES SUCH AS SOLSTICE STROLL, LEPRECHAUN HUNT, GARDEN TOTS AND SUMMER CAMPS. EACH YEAR WE PROVIDE THE VENUE AND PARTNER WITH THE SHORELAKE ARTS COUNCIL FOR A FREE OUTDOOR CONCERT. WE PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES TO FIND NEW AND VARIED WAYS TO APPRECIATE THE NATURAL WORLD, FURTHERING OUR GOAL OF PRESERVING THE KRUCKEBERG GARDENS AS A LOCAL TREASURE. MUCH OF OUR COST ARE INCURRED TO MAINTAIN THE GARDEN IN ITS MOST NATURAL STATE.


BOTANICAL GARDEN - THROUGH THE GENEROUS SUPPORT OF THE COMMUNITY, WE MAINTAIN, PRESERVE AND ENHANCE OUR BOTANICAL GARDEN AND ITS COLLECTIONS.THIS ENABLES OUR HORTICULTURAL STAFF TO CONTINUE THE PROPAGATION OF RARE AND UNUSUAL PLANTS COLLECTED BY THE FOUNDERS OF THE GARDEN. IN TURN, THIS ALLOWS US TO OFFER PLANTS FOR SALE TEACH CLASSES ON PROPAGATION RARE PLANT CARE AND SUSTAINABLE HORTICULTURAL PRACTICES.
