WE CONTRIBUTE OVER 5,000 COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS FROM OVER 75 VOLUNTEERS, SERVE OVER 465,000 MEALS/MEAL EQUIVALENTS TO OVER 20,000 HOUSEHOLDS, AND DIVERT OVER 200 TONS OF FOOD/RESOURCES FROM LANDFILLS ANNUALLY THROUGH OUR PROGRAMS. THIS IS THE EQUIVALENT TO THE CARBON SEQUESTERED BY 13,500 TREES GROWN FOR 10 YEARS. REALLY FREE MARKETS-WEEKLY DISTRIBUTION OF GROCERIES TO THE PUBLIC FOR FREE IN AN OUTDOOR FOOD BANK MODEL. SUMMER MEALS FOR KIDS WITH ART IN THE PARK AND OPERATION MUSIC-SHARE FREE MEALS FOR KIDS AND TEENS IN PUBLIC AREAS SUCH AS PARKS AND PLAYGROUNDS, AND OFFER FREE OR REDUCED PRICE ENRICHMENT AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES. THE FREE BURRITO PROJECT- CREATE DIETARY VEGAN, HALAL, KOSHER BURRITOS PACKAGED IN COMPOSTABLE PAPER AND DISTRIBUTE THEM FREELY TO THE PUBLIC THROUGH STREET OUTREACH AND DISTRIBUTION TO LOCAL SHELTERS. COMMUNITY BOX DELIVERY PROGRAM- DELIVER GROCERIES A VARIETY OF LOCATIONS INCLUDING SCHOOLS AND LOW INCOME, HIGH NEED RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS WHERE WE ALSO STOCK THEIR BUILDINGS WITH SNACKS AND BEVERAGES.
