TO PROMOTE RESEARCH IN CRANBERRY GROWTH AND HARVESTING AND TO PROVIDE PUBLIC ACCESS TO CRANBERRY FARMING AND HISTORY.

THE CRANBERRY MUSEUM CONTINUES TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC ABOUT CRANBERRY FARMING AND PRACTICES. ONCE THE MUSEUM WAS ABLE TO OPEN AFTER COVID THIS SUMMER, THE DEMOSTRATION FARM AND MUSEUM BECAME MORE POPULAR THAN EVER FOR VISITORS AND FAMILIES. DUE TO PROCEEDS FROM THE GIFT SHOP, THE MUSEUM REMAINS FREE TO THE PUBLIC. THE DEMOSTRATION FARM WALKING TRAIL IS OPEN ALL YEAR WITH VISITING HOURS EXTENDED TO DUSK DAILY.SEVERAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS WERE HELD INCLUDING A SPECIAL MARINE SCIENCE DAY. CRANBERRY FIELD DAY WAS STILL HELD VIRTUALY AGAIN THIS YEAR DUE TO COVID, BUT WILL RESUME THE IN-PERSON PROGRAM IN 2022. THE NEWLY REMODELED OFFICES WILL HOUSE A NEW RESEARCH SCIENTIST TO BE HIRED BY WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY IN 2022. THERE IS NOW ALSO SPACE FOR SMALL EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS, BOARD MEETINGS, CONFERENCES, AND DISTRIBUTION OF EDUCATIONAL BULLETINS FROM THE UNIVERSITY.
