TO DEVELOP AFFORDABLE HOUSING, IMPROVE HOUSING CONDITIONS, AND PROVIDE PERMANENTLY AFFORDABLE ACCESS TO LAND, HOMES, AND WORKPLACES ON VASHON ISLAND FOR LOW AND MODERATE INCOME FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS, ESPECIALLY THE DISABLED, THE ELDERLY, AND THE DISPLACED OR HOMELESS.

ORGANIZATION EXPENSES INCURRED IN RENTING AND DEVELOPING PROPERTY IN KEEPING WITH THE ENTITY'S MISSION STATEMENT. PROPERTIES INCLUDE: 9 UNIT SUBSIDIZED RENTAL APT. FOR SENIORS AND/OR DISABLED, 20 UNIT SUBSIDIZED RENTAL UNIT FOR LOW-INCOME PERSONS WITH HOMELESS SET ASIDE AND 2 HOME OWNERSHIP PROJECTS. ONE HAS 19 HOMES AND THE OTHER HAS 14 HOMES. BOTH ARE CLT'S (COMMUNITY LAND TRUST) WITH "PERMANENT AFFORDABILITY" FOR PEOPLE AT OR BELOW 80% MEDIAN INCOME.
