WE SUPPORT OVER 220 SMALL BUSINESSES BY PROVIDING DIRECT CONSUMER ACCESS, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT, AND EDUCATING OUR COMMUNITY ON THE BENEFITS OF EATING LOCAL AND SUPPORTING SMALL BUSINESSES.

THE VANCOUVER FARMERS MARKET ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS OVER 220 SMALL BUSINESSES BY OPERATING THREE MARKETS ACROSS VANCOUVER PROVIDING DIRECT ACCESS TO AN AVERAGE OF 12,000 CUSTOMERS A WEEK, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS AND SMALL BUSINESS EDUCATION GRANTS. THE VANCOUVER FARMERS MARKET ASSOCIATION ALSO SUPPORTS THE RESIDENTS OF OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH OUR FOOD ACCESS PROGRAMS EDUCATING YOUTH AND PROVIDING LOW COST OR FREE FOOD TO THOSE IN NEED. THIS WORK IS OFTEN IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LOCAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, AND NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS DEDICATED TO PURSUING AN EQUITABLE, VIBRANT, AND HEALTHY COMMUNITY.
