SUMMER CAMP WORKSHOPS: THREE 2-WEEK WORKSHOPS WERE HELD FROM JUNE TO AUGUST 2022, BENEFITTING OVER 100 YOUTH AGES 4 TO 18. THESE WORKSHOPS REQUIRED THE HELP OF PRODUCTION STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS. EACH WORKSHOP OFFERED STUDENTS AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN, CREATE AND GROW - NOT JUST IN THEATRE, BUT ALSO IN VISUAL ARTS, WRITING, PUBLIC SPEAKING, AND TEAMWORK. CURRICULUM INTEGRATES HANDS-ON LEARNING EXPERIENCES IN SET DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION, LIGHTING AND SOUND SCIENCE, THEATER MANAGEMENT, MARKETING, AND RELATED TECHNICAL FIELDS. WORKSHOPS ALSO OFFERED COLLEGE STUDENTS AN EARNED INCOME, TO CULTIVATE A NEW GENERATION OF LEADERSHIP IN THE PERFORMING ARTS. THIS PROGRAM ALSO OFFERED SCHOLARSHIPS IN THE FORM OF DISCOUNTS TO PARTICIPANTS WHO REQUESTED FINANCIAL AID.


MAIN STAGE SHOWS: TWO MUSICAL THEATRE PRODUCTIONS WERE PRESENTED IN 2022. ACTORS AND ACTRESSES FROM CSTOCK PARTICIPATED IN THESE PRODUCTIONS, AS WELL AS VOLUNTEERS HELPING BACKSTAGE WITH LIGHTING, SOUND, COSTUMES, AND SET DESIGN. OUR CORE MISSION FOCUS HAS REMAINED STRENGTHENING INTERGENERATIONAL BONDS ON-STAGE AND OFF-STAGE WHILE BUILDING CONFIDENCE, SKILLS AND VALUES IN LOCAL YOUTH.


SCHOLARSHIPS: CSTOCK AWARDED ONE COMPETITIVE SCHOLARSHIP, BENEFITTING STUDENTS SEEKING POST-SECONDARY SCHOOLING IN PERFORMING ARTS.
