BY PROVIDING CITIZENS WITH INFORMATION ABOUT SERIOUS CRIMINALS WHO ARE AT LARGE, CRIME STOPPERS OF PUGET SOUND PROVIDES INVALUABLE BENEFITS TO THREE IMPORTANT GROUPS. THESE GROUPS CONSIST OF LAW ENFORCEMENT, LOCAL CITIZENS AND THE MEDIA. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THOUGH A 24 HOUR ANONYMOUS TIPLINE. INFORMATION IS FORWARDED TO APPROPRIATE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES.
REWARDS OF UP TO $1,000 ARE GIVEN FOR ANONYMOUS TIPSTERS WHOSE INFORMATION RESULTS IN THE ARREST AND CHARGE OF A CRIMINAL. REWARDS ARE REIMBURSED BY A DONOR AT THIS TIME.
