ROTARY IS A WORLDWIDE SERVICE ORGANIZATION. DISTRICT 5030 IS COMPRISED OF 46 INDIVIDUAL CLUBS.

DISTRICT CONFERENCE: THE EVENT IS A YEAREND MEETING TO WHICH ALL ROTARIANS IN THE DISTRICT ARE INVITED. AT THE MEETING, THE YEAR'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE REVIEWED AND INFORMATION SHARED ON POTENTIAL FUTURE PROJECTS. ATTENDEES ALSO LEARN ABOUT ROTARY ACTIVITIES IN OTHER COUNTRIES. ATTENDENCE RANGES FROM 400 TO 500. HOWEVER, DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC THE DISTRICT CONFERENCE WAS CANCELLED. CONSEQUENTLY, THERE WAS MINIMAL REVENUE AND EXPENSE IN THIS FISCAL YEAR.
THE DISTRICT PROVIDES LEADERSHIP AND OTHER TRAINING TO CLUBS AND THEIR LEADERS, AS WELL AS TO DISTRICT LEVEL VOLUNTEERS. DISTRICT LEADERS ALSO ATTEND TRAINING SESSIONS AT THE ZONE AND INTERNATIONAL LEVEL. A WEB SITE IS UTILIZED AS A RESOURCE FOR CLUB LEADERS. IN ADDITION TO THIS, THE DISTRICT LEADERS PROVIDE LEADERSHIP THROUGH THEIR INVOLVEMENT WITH THE INDIVIDUAL CLUBS.
THE DISTRICT DEVELOPMENT FUND (DDF) DISBURSES GRANTS RECEIVED FROM ROTARY INTERNATIONAL TO CLUBS IN DISTRICT 5030. THE CLUBS APPLY FOR DDF FUNDS FOR THEIR USE TO MAKE DISTRICT GRANTS OR GLOBAL GRANTS.
