KAWABE MEMORIAL HOUSE IS A TEN-STORY BUILDING WITH 154 UNITS, HOME TO SENIORS AGE 62 YEARS AND OLDER. MOST RESIDENTS ARE FIRST GENERATION IMMIGRANTS.


PROVIDING NUTRITIONALLY BALANCED MEAL SERVICES FOR LOW-INCOME SENIORS. KAWABE IS PART OF THE TITLE III OLDER AMERICA ACT CONGREGATE NUTRITION PROGRAM OFFERING A LUNCH FIVE DAYS A WEEK FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS AT LEAST 60 YEARS OLD, SERVING AN AVERAGE OF 62 PEOPLE EACH DAY.
