EDUCATION: THE WSMA IS COMMITTED TO PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND OFFERS MEMBERS 6 DIFFERENT LEADERSHIP COURSES TO ENHANCE AND BUILD LEADERSHIP SKILLS.
ADVOCACY: WSMA REPRESENTS ITS 12,000 PHYSICIAN MEMBERS BEFORE THE LEGISLATURE AND STATE AGENCIES, HEALTH PLANS, THE MEDIA AND GENERAL PUBLIC. THE WSMA IS ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN WORKING TO IMPROVE ACCESS TO CARE IN COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT WASHINGTON STATE.
COMMUNICATIONS: WSMA PUBLICATIONS INFORM PHYSICIANS ABOUT THE EMERGING PERFORMANCE, COST AND QUALITY MEASUREMENTS THAT ARE INTEGRAL TO HEALTH CARE. THE WSMA ALSO PROVIDES BROCHURES ON A VARIETY OF PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUES TO ALL MEMBERS.
