PROJECT SHAKA IS A MOVEMENT TO SHARE ALOHA WITH THE WORLD THROUGH THE SHAKA GESTURE. AS PART OF THIS PROGRAM, ID8 IS PRODUCING A FEATURE-LENGTH DOCUMENTARY ON THE ORIGIN, HISTORY AND MEANING OF THE SHAKA GESTURE. THE FILM WAS IN FULL PRODUCTION THROUGH 2023, SHOOTING 60+ INTERVIEWS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS ON THE ISLAND OF OAHU. TYPICAL CREWS FOR SHOOTS RANGED FROM 2-6 IN 2023, MUSIC TEAM FEATURED 26 ARTISTS AND ENGINEERS, POST-PRODUCTION TEAM INCLUDED 10. IN ADDITION, THREE ID8 BOARD MEMBERS ALSO SERVE AS VOLUNTEER ASSOCIATE PRODUCERS ON THE PROJECT AND 6 OTHERS VOLUNTEERED ON THE PROJECT


PROJECT LEMON TREE IS A HANDS-ON MULTI-DISCIPLINARY, APPLIED STEM PROGRAM IN WHICH STUDENTS DESIGN AND BUILD THEIR OWN OUTDOOR CLASSROOM THROUGH A PROJECT-BASED CURRICULUM MODEL DEVELOPED BY ID8. PLT ALSO OFFERS A CITRUS TREE PURCHASING PROGRAM FOR RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES. IN 2023 30 TREES WERE PLACE WITH RESIDENTS. BIZZYB IS AN INNOVATION LEARNING APP THAT FEATURES A LIBRARY OF ENTREPRENEURIAL EXPERIENCES FOR STUDENTS GRADES 7-12. A PROJECT BASED LEARNING PLATFORM. IT TEACHES POSITIVE BUSINESS VALUES AND PROVIDES STUDENTS WITH THE FRAMEWORK TO TRANSFORM IDEAS INTO ENTREPRENEURIAL REALITY.


ID8 STUDIOS AS A DIGITAL MEDIA SOUNDSTAGE HOSTED 41 PRODUCTIONS INCLUDING COMMERCIAL ADVERTISING, MUSIC VIDEO, PODCASTS, INDEPENDENT FILMS, INTERVIEWS, AUDITIONS, CASTING, COSTUME FITTINGS AND PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY. TYPICAL PRODUCTION CREW SIZES RANGE FROM 3 TO 30 MEMBERS.


STORYUARTS PRODUCED ONE EVENT, HAWAII SKETCH FEST, A LIVE SKETCH AND IMPROV COMEDY SHOW DEDICATED TO ELEVATING LOCAL COMEDIANS IN THE PERFORMING ARTS. 12 VOLUNTEERS AND 25 PERFORMERS WERE FEATURED IN TWO NIGHTTIME SHOWS WITH ATTENDANCE AT 300 PER SHOW.
