JUNIOR MILERS WILL SERVE BETWEEN TWENTY AND FIFTY UNDERPRIVILEGED YOUTH IN THE GREATER BURLINGTON AREA IN THE STATE OF VERMONT AND PROVIDE A COMPREHENSIVE RUNNING PROGRAM THAT PROMOTES MENTAL, EMOTIONAL, EDUCATIONAL, AND PHYSICAL HEALTH. MONEY IS USED TO PROVIDE PARTICIPANTS WITH RUNNING SHOES, SHIRTS, AND RACE ENTRY AS WELL AS HEALTHY FOOD AND DRINK OPTIONS IN AND AROUND PRACTICES.
