IS A GRASSROOTS HUMANITARIAN GROUP BASED IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY WHOSE MISSION IS TO WELCOME AND ASSIST INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES PERSECUTED ABROAD AND UNABLE TO RETURN SAFELY TO THEIR HOME COUNTRIES ("REFUGEES"). THE CHARITY FOCUSES ON RESETTLEMENT OF THESE REFUGEES USING A CO-SPONSORSHIP MODEL. WE ASSIST THESE NEW NEIGHBORS IN FINDING APPROPRIATE HOUSING, LEARNING ENGLISH, ESTABLISHING BASIC MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE, PLACING KIDS IN SCHOOL, SECURING EMPLOYMENT AND FEELING A WELCOME AND SUPPORTED PART OF THE COMMUNITY.
