ACCOMPANY CAPITAL ASSISTED MICRO AND SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS TO ACCESS $13.5M IN COVID19 RELIEF IN THE FORM OF DEBT RELIEF, INTEREST RELIEF, GRANTS, AND LOW COST LOANSFROM THE SBA, NEW YORK STATE, NEW YORK CITY, CORPORATE, AND PRIVATE DONORS FOR COVID-19 RELIEF PROGRAMS. A TOTAL OF 6,204 HOURS OF SMALL GROUP TRAINING AND INDIVIDUALIZED ASSISTANCE TO 1,059 CLIENTS WERE ALSO PROVIDED IN FY 2021.
ACCOMPANY CAPITAL'S LOAN PROGRAM AWARDED 319 MICRO AND SMALL BUSINESS LOANS WITH AVALUE OF $7,219,523 TO IMMIGRANT, REFUGEE, AND WOMEN MICRO-ENTREPRENEURS. ACCOMPANY CAPITAL WORKED WITH CLIENTS FROM 63 COUNTRIES; 81% OF ALL LOANS WENT TO MINORITY ENTREPRENEURS AND 43% WERE GRANTED TO WOMEN; 21 NEW BUSINESSES WERE STARTED AND 669 BUSINESSES WERE EXPANDED OR STRENGTHENED.
