EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION - PRAB PROVIDES THE LARGEST AFFORDABLE EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM IN THE CITY OF NEW BRUNSWICK WHICH INCLUDES BOTH A DAYCARE PROGRAM THAT SERVES CHILDREN AGES 2 TO 5 YEARS OLD FOR WORKING PARENTS OR THOSE THAT ARE CURRENTLY ATTENDING SCHOOL (SEE SCHEDULE O FOR DETAILS).
ENERGY CONSERVATION - PRAB OPERATES PROGRAMS THAT REDUCE ENERGY COSTS FOR LOW-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS BY INCREASING THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF THEIR HOMES WHILE ENSURING HEALTH AND SAFETY. IN ADDITION, RESIDENTS CAN ALSO RECEIVE BENEFITS TOWARDS THEIR HEATING AND COOLING BILLS.
YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES - PRAB PROVIDES YOUTH AND FAMILY PROGRAMS WHICH OFFER A RANGE OF SOCIAL SERVICES TO EMPOWER YOUNG PEOPLE TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS IN SCHOOL AND EVERYDAY LIFE. SERVICES INCLUDE THE PARENT INFANT CARE CENTER FOR TEEN MOTHERS ATTENDING NEW BRUNSWICK HIGH SCHOOL AND THE YOUTH INTERVENTION AND MENTORING PROGRAM WHICH WORKS TO MITIGATE THE RISK FACTORS THAT FOSTER GANG INVOLVEMENT FOR YOUTH 13 TO 16 YEARS OLD.
