THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF RIDGEFIELD INDPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL IS TO PRODUCE AN ANNUAL INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL SHOWCASING INDEPENDENT FILMS FROM AROUND THE WORLD AT VARIOUS VENUES IN THE TOWN OF RIDGEFIELD, CT. AND TO PROMOTE THE TOWN AS A DESTINATION FOR ARTS & CULTURE. 2023 PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE SCREENING 44 FILMS IN 6 VENUES THROUGHOUT RIDGEFIELD FROM MAY 19-21, 2023 WELCOMING FILMMAKERS FROM LOS ANGELES, MEXICO CITY, NYC AND ALL OVER CT TO ATTEND IN PERSON. AWARDS FOR EMERGING FILMMAKER, SCREENING FEES AND TRAVEL EXPENSES PROVIDED FOR WINNING FILMMAKERS. ENGAGING THE COMMUNITY IN PARTICIPATING IN AN INTERNATIONAL INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL INCLUDING AS SCREENERS VOLUNTEERS, PATRONS, AUDIENCE AND SPONSORS.
