PROVIDED ACADEMIC SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE TO OVER 120 YOUTH IN GRADES 6-12 PLACED 4 COLLEGE STUDENTS IN INTERNSHIPS PROVIDED ACADEMIC AND SOCIAL JUSTICE INFORMATION TO OVER 700 COLLEGE STUDENTS LIFEWORKS SC USES DEEP CANVASSING, TO REACH NEIGHBORHOODS WITH POOR VOTER TURNOUT. THIS ENTAILS CONNECTING FACE-TO-FACE WITH DISENGAGED VOTERS BY SHARING PERSONAL EXPERIENCES. DOING SO SORT OF FAST-TRACKS PARTICIPANTS FEELINGS OF EMOTIONAL CONNECTION TO EACH OTHER. THROUGH OUR EFFORTS WE REACHED 2500 COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN OVER 25 UNIQUE NEIGHBORHOODS AND OVER 300,000 THROUGH OUR ELECTRONIC MARKETING CAMPAIGN. WE HAVE FACILITATED AND CO-FACILITATED OVER 25 COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS AND TRAININGS.
