TO CONNECT PEOPLE TO THE RELEVANCE AND IMPORTANCE OF THE COMSTOCK STORY THROUGH ITS AUTHENTIC PRESERVATION, INTERACTIVE EXHIBITIONS, INTERPRETIVE PROGRAMS, AND ARCHIVAL RESEARCH CENTER.

THE MUSEUM WELCOMED 9,966 VISITORS, OF WHICH 1,344 WERE STUDENTS/CHILDREN FOR PUBLIC TOURS. OUR ADDITIONAL PROGRAM ACTIVITIES FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS SERVED ANOTHER 430 GUESTS. DIGITAL PROGRAMMING THROUGH A VIRTUAL MUSEUM TOUR AND A SERIES OF NEVADA HISTORY VIDEOS ALSO EXPANDED PUBLIC ACCESS AND EDUCATION.


MANAGED OUR ARCHIVAL AND ARTIFACT COLLECTION, RESEARCHED AND DEVELOPED A NEW CHANGING GALLERY EXHIBIT, AS WELL AS PROVIDING RESEARCH ASSISTANCE TO THE PUBLIC THROUGH OUR ARCHIVES RESEARCH CENTER.


CONTINUED THE REGULAR MAINTENANCE AND NECESSARY REPAIRS AND UPGRADES TO THE HISTORIC 1876 BUILT VICTORIAN FOUR-STORY FOURTH WARD SCHOOL BUILDING. IN 2023 RESTORATION OF THE EAST SIDE AND SOUTH SIDE ELEVATIONS OF THE BUILDING WERE COMPLETED, AS WELL AS INSTALLATION OF ADDITIONAL HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEMS TO SERVE CERTAIN SECTIONS OF THE BUILDING.
