Part 3 - Line 4a
HIGH IMPACT ATHLETES (HIA) EDUCATES HIGH-PROFILE ATHLETES AND THEIR FANS ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF EFFECTIVE CHARITABLE GIVING. WE HARNESS ATHLETES' SOCIAL INFLUENCE TO PROMOTE CHARITABLE GIVING AND GENERATE DONATIONS, NOT JUST FROM THE ATHLETES BUT FROM THEIR FANS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC. FOR MANY OF OUR ATHLETES, THEIR EXPERIENCE THROUGH HIGH IMPACT ATHLETES IS THEIR FIRST STEP INTO PHILANTHROPY, SO WE ARE GENERATING A NEW SOURCE OF DONATIONS FOR CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS AND NEW ROLE MODELS FOR GIVING. ATHLETE AND SPORTS FAN DONATIONS ARE MADE TO CHARITIES THAT HIA HAS DETERMINED TO BE THE MOST IMPACTFUL CHARITIES IN THE WORLD IN THE SECTORS OF GLOBAL HEALTH & POVERTY, CLIMATE CHANGE, ANIMAL WELFARE, AND MENTAL HEALTH. WE WORK WITH CHARITY RESEARCH ORGANIZATIONS, INCLUDING GIVEWELL, THE LIFE YOU CAN SAVE, AND ANIMAL CHARITY EVALUATORS, AS WELL AS UTILIZING REPORTS FROM OPEN PHILANTHROPY AND FOUNDERS PLEDGE, TO BRING WHAT WE DETERMINE TO BE THE BEST CHARITIES INTO ONE ONLINE GIVING PLATFORM. OUR WEBSITE CONNECTS ATHLETES, THEIR FAN BASES, AND THE BROADER POPULATION WITH THESE HIGH IMPACT GIVING OPPORTUNITIES TO SUPPORT THE ORGANIZATIONS' CHARITABLE PROGRAMS.
