IN THE 2021/2022 FISCAL YEAR THE PALM SPRINGS FIRE FOUNDATION WAS CREATED AND PERFORMED A VARIETY OF CHARITABLE TASKS. THE DONATIONS IN 2022 INCLUDED DONATIONS TO A MURIETTA FIREFIGHTER WITH BRAIN CANCER AND DONATION TO A PALM SPRINGS FIREFIGHTER WHO HAD A NEWBORN SON HOSPITALIZED. THE FIRE FOUNDATION ALSO HELD EVENTS TO BRING ATTENTION TO THE ORGANIZATION AND HELP THE COMMUNITY. THE EVENTS INCLUDED AN EASTER EGG HUNT, CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE AND IMPROVEMENTS OF THE JAMES O JESS COMMUNITY CENTER.
