AT STRONG POSS-ABILITIES, OUR VISION IS TO CREATE A SPACE THAT EMPOWERS AND DEVELOPS ATHLETICISM FOR THE SPECIAL NEEDS DISABILITIES COMMUNITY. STRONG POSS-ABILITIES WAS ABLE TO START WORKING WITH INDIVIDUALS IN THEIR HOMES IN THE SECOND QUARTER OF 2022, AND ON OCTOBER 22, 2022 WERE ABLE TO OPEN A FITNESS STUDIO JUST FOR THE SPECIAL NEEDS COMMUNITY. AT THE END OF 2022, THERE WERE APPROXIMATELY 30-35 CLIENTS THAT WOULD COME 1-3 TIMES A WEEK FOR PERSONAL TRAINING. THERE ARE ALSO ABOUT 3 PEOPLE THAT GET NUTRITION COUNSELING. THE PERSONAL TRAINING INCLUDES CARDIO, STRENGTH TRAINING, AND MOBILITY/STRETCHING. THE CONFIDENCE IN THESE INDIVIDUALS AS THEY CAN DO MORE CARDIO, LIFT A LITTLE HEAVIER AND NOT BE TIRED IS AMAZING. ONE INDIVIDUAL IN PARTICULAR HAS LOST WEIGHT, BUILT MUSCLE AND IF FEELING MUCH HAPPIER ABOUT HIMSELF AND MORE CONFIDENT. STRONG POSS-ABILITIES ALSO PROVIDES SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE SPECIAL NEEDS INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE 18 AND OLDER. ONCE A MONTH THERE IS A DANCE THAT IS CHAPERONED BY PARENTS AND FRIENDS, AND THERE IS ALSO A MOVIE NIGHT ONCE A MONTH.
