Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
THE HONEYWELL ARTS ACADEMY IS A UNIQUE, TUITION-FREE SUMMER INSTITUTE. FUELED BY THE MISSION TO FOSTER AN INCLUSIVE AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT WHERE ARTISTIC IDEAS ARE FREE-FLOWING FROM TEACHER TO STUDENT AND VICE VERSA. THE ACADEMY HAS A PHILOSOPHY WE REFER TO AS, THE SHARING OF KNOWLEDGE. DURING AN INTENSIVE PERIOD OF ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT, PARTICIPANTS REACH BEYOND THEIR CRAFT TO LEARN ABOUT WHAT IT TAKES TO THRIVE ENTREPRENEURIALLY AS WELL AS THE INVALUABLE EFFECT OF SPREADING JOY TO OTHERS AND POSITIVELY IMPACTING THE HUMAN SPIRIT. ALL ACTIVITIES ARE LED BY THE ACADEMY'S FACULTY MENTORS AND ARE AN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE. SCHOLARS PARTICIPATE IN SESSIONS WHICH INCLUDE PRIVATE INSTRUCTION FROM FACULTY MENTORS, MASTERCLASS-STYLE PRESENTATIONS, AND COLLABORATIVE SESSIONS WHERE MUSICIANS CAN TRY OUT NEW IDEAS AND INFLUENCES WITH OTHER PROGRESSIVE MUSICIANS, CULMINATING IN A FINAL PERFORMANCE THAT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
