ORGANIZING NETWORKING EVENTS WHERE BIOTECH, PHARMA, MEDTECH, DIAGNOSTIC AND VENTURE CAPITAL EXECUTIVES CAN BUILD RELATIONSHIPS, SOURCE TRANSACTIONS AND LEARN ABOUT OTHER COMPANIES IN THEIR AREA, FOSTERING A STRONGER ENVIRONMENT FOR THE LIFE SCIENCES.

THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED TWO IN-PERSON NETWORKING EVENTS IN MULTIPLE LOCATIONS, INCLUDING BOSTON, PHILADELPHIA, AND SAN FRANCISCO, IN SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER 2021. ATTENDANCE RANGED FROM 30-150 PEOPLE. THE EXPENSES ARE THE DIRECT COSTS FOR THE NETWORKING EVENTS, SUCH AS THE VENUE RENTAL, FOOD, PRINTING AND MARKETING. THE REVENUE RESULTED FROM SOLICITATION OF SPONSORS FOR THESE EVENTS. NO FUNDRAISING COSTS WERE INCURRED IN OBTAINING SPONSORS. THE ORGANIZATION RENTS OUT LOBBIES, RESTAURANTS, ETC. FOR THE LOCATION OF EACH EVENT.THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED TEN VIRTUAL EXPERT PANEL DISCUSSION AND VIRTUAL NETWORKING EVENTS THROUGHOUT 2021. ATTENDANCE AT THE VIRTUAL EVENTS RANGED FROM 20-80 PEOPLE PER EVENT. THE EXPENSES FOR VIRTUAL EVENTS INCLUDED ZOOM PLATFORM AND VARIOUS MARKETING PLATFORMS.


CHIEF BUSINESS OFFICER (CBO) FORUM IN 2021 THE CBO FORUM HELD ONE VIRTUAL EVENT AND TWO IN-PERSON EVENTS IN BOSTON AND SAN FRANCISCO. EVENT ATTENDANCE RANGED FROM 30-50 PEOPLE PER EVENT. THE PURPOSE OF THE FORUM IS TO PROMOTE A COMMUNITY OF CBOS IN THE BIOPHARMA ECOSYSTEM AND TO PROVIDE AN INTERACTIVE FORUM FOR DISCUSSION AND EXPLORATION OF ISSUES AND CHALLENGES FACED BY CBOS.

THE PURPOSE OF THE FORUM IS TO PROMOTE A COMMUNITY OF CEOS IN THE BIOPHARMA ECOSYSTEM AND TO PROVIDE AN INTERACTIVE FORUM FOR DISCUSSION AND EXPLORATION OF ISSUES AND CHALLENGES FACED BY CEOS.


BOOST BY BIOBREAK IN 2021 BOOST BY BIOBREAK HELD FOUR VIRTUAL AND ONE IN-PERSON EVENT IN BOSTON. EVENT ATTENDANCE RANGED FROM 30-80 PEOPLE PER EVENT. THE PURPOSE OF THE GROUP IS S TO BRING TOGETHER BIOBREAK'S FEMALE LIFE SCIENCE EXECUTIVES, BOARD MEMBERS, AND INVESTORS, WHILE ALSO USING THIS WOMEN'S GROUP TO GROW THE NETWORK OF FEMALE MEMBERS. BOOST STRIVES TO CREATE A PLACE WHERE OUR MEMBERS CAN HAVE IN-DEPTH CONVERSATIONS TO BRING BACK AWARENESS TO THEIR COMPANY TO INCITE POSITIVE CHANGE THAT WILL IMPROVE THE INDUSTRY AS A WHOLE.
