DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024, COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS FSC HAD 25% INCREASE IN MEMBERSHIP. WE PRESENTED TWO SKATING SHOWS; THE FIRST WAS OUR HOLIDCAY SHOW IN DECEMBER WHICH FEATURED OVER 100 SKATERS, INCLUDING THE COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS RECREATION CENTERS LEARN TO SKATE PARTICIPANTS, THE STARLIT BLADES SYNCHRONIZED SKATERS, AND THE BRIGHTON HIGH SCHOOL AND CHFSC HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS. THE SECOND WAS OUR SPRING SHOW, HELD AT THE END OF MARCH, WAS A BIGGER PRODUCTION THAN IN THE PAST AND FEATURED 78 SKATERS, ALL OF WHOM WERE MEMBERS OF THE CLUB AND CHRC LEARN TO SKATE. THE CLUB HELD 101 CLUB ICE SESSIONS FOR OUR MEMBERS, DESPITE THE ICE AT CHRC BEING DOWN FOR 4 MONTHS, AND CONDUCTED SUMMER TRAINING CLINICS FOR ONE AND ONE-HALF MONTHS DURING THE SCHOOL SUMMER BREAK. WE LOOK FORWARD TO CONTINUING THESE OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR SKATERS IN THE FUTURE AND HOPE TO EXPAND UPON THE TRAINING PROGRAMS WE OFFER.
