YOUTH ON COURSE (YOC) IS A INTERNATIONAL 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT CURRENTLY OPERATING AT 1,700 PARTICIPATING COURSES AND IMPACTING MORE THAN 100,000 MEMBERS. YOC PROVIDES JUNIOR MEMBERS AGES 6-18 ACCESS TO ROUNDS OF GOLF FOR $5 OR LESS FOR NINE HOLES BY SUBSIDIZING PARTICIPATING COURSES. THE 2020, YOC UTAH SEASON INCLUDED 32 UTAH GOLF COURSES. NEARLY 4,500 YOC UTAH MEMBERS PLAYED MORE THAN 20,000 ROUNDS OF GOLF IN 2020, AND AT AN EVERAGE SUBSIDAY OF $5 PER ROUND, THE FOUNDATION REIMBURSED PARTICIPATING UTAH FACILITIES UPWARDS OF $100,000.
VETERANS ON COURSE (VOC) WAS STARTED AS A PILOT PROGRAM IN 2016 TO PROVIDE INSTRUCTION AND PLAYING OPPORTUNITIES TO VETERANS FREE OF CHARGE. EACH EVENT CONSISTS OF LESSONS FROM PGA PROFESSIONALS, A NINE-HOLE SCRAMBLE TOURNAMENT AND AN AFTER-PLAY SOCIAL WITH DINNER AND A GUEST SPEAKER. THE FOUNDATION HOSTED SIX EVENTS DURING THE 2020 SEASON, INCLUDING ONE WOMEN'S EVENT IN NORTHERN UTAH.
DONATIONS TO ORGANIZATIONS WITH A MISSION TO IMPACT THE LIVES OF YOUNG PEOPLE BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS THAT BUILD CHARACTER, INSTILL LIFE-ENHANCING VALUES AND PROMOTE HEALTHY CHOICES THROUGH THE GAME OF GOLF.
