FOUNDED TO PROVIDE CAPITAL SUPPORT FOR HILL AEROSPACE MUSEUM IN ROY, UTAH. THIS SUPPORT PROVIDES FOR THE MUSEUM'S FACILITY IMPROVEMENT, MUSEUM EXPANSION, AND PROJECTS FOR WHICH AIR FORCE FUNDING IS NOT AVAILABLE. ADDITIONALLY OUR GOAL IS TO EDUCATE, EXCITE AND LEAD STUDENTS AND VISITORS INTO THE WORLD OF FLIGHT AND THE EVER-EXPANDING KNOWLEDGE OF SPACE.

THE FOUNDATIONS PLANE TALK LECTURE TOOK A HIATUS DURING 2021 DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. THE AEROSPACE HERITAGE FOUNDATION OF UTAH CONTINUED AN ORAL HISTORY PROJECT, INTERVIEWING LONG-TIME FOUNDATION BOARD MEMBERS, MUSEUM VOLUNTEERS AND OTHERS. ORAL HISTORIES HAVE BEEN COMPLETED ON PAT CONDON, WALT GOULD, DON PANTONE, RICHARD QUIMBY, ELLIE REYNOLDS, DELOY SPENCER, KAY STOWELL, KEVIN SULLIVAN, HAL UNANDER, BOB WEISS. OTHER INTERVIEWS WILL BE HELD IN THE FUTURE. FOURTEEN MUSEUM AIRCRAFT ARE CURRENTLY BEING SPONSORED BY GENEROUS DONORS THROUGH THE AEROSPACE HERITAGE FOUNDATION OF UTAH. THE MUSEUMS B-17, B-24, C-47, F-4C, F-16 A MODEL, F-16 LITTLE PRECIOUS, F-111, P-40, P-47, P-51, SR-71, THE JENNY, CH-3 HELICOPTER AND H-53 HELICOPTER ARE ALL A PART OF THE PROGRAM. THESE ANNUAL SPONSORSHIPS RAISE MUCH NEEDED UNRESTRICTED FUNDS FOR THE MUSEUM. THREE NEW SPONSORSHIPS IN 2021 INCLUDE THE JENNY, P-47 AND F- 4C. AEROSPACE HERITAGE FOUNDATION OF UTAH WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA STATISTICS FOR THE PERIOD OF JULY 1, 2021, THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2021, ARE AS FOLLOWS. THE AEROSPACEUTAH.ORG WEB SITE HAD 103,902 TOTAL SESSIONS IN 2021 WITH 80,756 NEW VISITORS. AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2021, THE HILL AEROSPACE MUSEUM/AEROSPACE HERITAGE FOUNDATION FACEBOOK PAGE HAD 8,262 FOLLOWERS. THIS WAS A 7.3% INCREASE OVER PREVIOUS YEAR. FACEBOOK REACHED PEOPLE IN EVERY STATE AND IN NUMEROUS CITIES THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES AND 51 FOREIGN COUNTRIES DURING THE PERIOD. 201,602 PEOPLE WERE REACHED ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE BETWEEN JULY 1, 2021, AND DECEMBER 31, 2021. 385,722 PEOPLE WERE REACHED THROUGHOUT ALL OF 2021. THE AEROSPACE HERITAGE FOUNDATION CONTRACTED WITH FORTHGEAR TO UPDATE THE MUSEUM COLLECTION WEBPAGE. THE COLLECTIONS PAGE IS NOW DIVIDED INTO THE FOLLOWING AIRCRAFT TYPES: ATTACK AIRCRAFT, BOMBER AIRCRAFT, CARGO AIRCRAFT, EARLY AIRCRAFT, FIGHTER AIRCRAFT, HELICOPTERS, AND SURVEILLANCE AIRCRAFT. WITHIN EACH SECTION EACH AIRCRAFT IS LISTED WITH PHOTOGRAPH (S), SPECIFIC INFORMATION ON EACH AIRCRAFT, AIRCRAFT SPECIFICATIONS, THE AIRCRAFTS MISSION AND TIE TO HILL AIR FORCE BASE, FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS, OTHER MEDIA ON THE AIRCRAFT, AS WELL AS A LINK TO ITEMS IN THE FLIGHT LINE GIFT SHOP RELATED TO THE AIRCRAFT. THE AEROSPACE HERITAGE FOUNDATION OF UTAH CONTINUED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ITS 10,000 PER MONTH GOOGLE AD WORDS GRANT. THE AEROSPACE HERITAGE FOUNDATION OF UTAH CONTINUED WORKING WITH FORTHGEAR TO CONDUCT SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION WORK FOR THE AEROSPACEUTAH.ORG WEB SITE. THIS OPTIMIZATION HAS INCREASED THE VISIBILITY OF OUR WEB SITE AND WILL MOVE TO THE TOP OF IF NOT AT THE TOP OF ANY WEB SEARCH OF HILL AEROSPACE MUSEUM.
