WE ARE DEDICATED TO A SINGLE PURPOSE: EMPOWERING VETERANS TO LEAD HIGH-QUALITY LIVES WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY. WE ACCOMPLISH THIS BY ENSURING THAT VETERANS & THEIR FAMILIES CAN ACCESS THE FULL RANGE OF BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO THEM; FIGHTING FOR THE INTERESTS OF AMERICAS INJURED.

Part 3 - Line 4a

DURING THE FISCAL YEAR, THE DAV THRIFT STORE & RESOURCE CENTER EMPLOYED APPROXIMATELY 22 VETERANS. THEY SUPPLIED VETERANS WITH CLOTHING & OTHER DONATIONS FROM THE THRIFT STORE. THROUGH THEIR RESOURCE CENTER, THEY SUPPORT VETERANS IN OBTAINING MILITARY BENEFITS, RESUME PREPARATION, & EMPLOYMENT SEARCH. ADDITIONALLY,THEY PROVIDE DIRECT VETERANS SERVICES IN THE FORM OF UTILITY HELP, TRAVEL, & OTHER SERVICES. FINALLY, THEY OFFER GRANTS TO HOMELESS VETS & VET RELATED ORGANIZATIONS IN THE FORM OF CONTRIBUTIONS & GRANTS.
