PROSTHETICS: THE CHAPTER PICKED UP AND DELIVERED DME EQUIPMENT, SUPPLIES, AND OTHER SERVICEABLE PRODUCTS FROM ACROSS THE STATE. THESE WERE DISTRIBUTED TO VETERANS, VETERAN FAMILY MEMBERS, CIVILIAN INDIVIDUALS, AND OTHER NON-PROFITS FOR LOW-INCOME DISABLED INDIVIDUALS.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND OUTREACH: SPONSORED EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEDICAL RESEARCH ON SPINAL CORD INJURIES. WE HAVE INCREASED OUR SPONSORSHIP TO VARIOUS TEAMS AND HAVE BECOME A LARGER SPONSOR OF THE MARICOPA STAND DOWN; ESPECIALLY THE WOMENS VETERANS BOOTH.
SPORTS: WE HOSTED THE VETERAN WHEELCHAIR GAMES IN TEMPE, ARIZONA. WE ARE WORKING WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA SPORTS TO INCREASE THE PROGRAM; COMPTITIVE GOLF FOR DISABLED VETERANS IN SOUTHERN ARIZONA.
