THE UTAH SCHOOL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION (USEA) SUPPORTS 43 LOCAL AFFILIATES IN NEGOTIATIONS, ADVOCACY WORK (GRIEVANCES AND EMPLOYER ISSUES), LOBBYING THE LEGISLATURE FOR EFFECTIVE EDUCATION POLICY, AND FUNDING. USEA PROVIDES LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AS WELL AS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR ITS MEMBERS. AS OF AGUSUT 31, 2022, THE ASSOCIATION HAD ROUGHLY 3,100 MEMBERS. USEA CONTINUES TO WORK TOWARDS THE GOALS THAT WERE CREATED AS A RESULT OF THE RENEWED MISSION, VISION, AND CORE VALUES OF ITS MEMBERS.
THE ASSOCIATION REPRESENTS NON-TEACHING EMPLOYEES OF SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND PROVIDES MEMBER BENEFITS SUCH AS INSURANCE, LEGAL SERVICES, ETC.
