COLLECT AND PRESERVE PIONEER AND HISTORICAL ARTIFACTS, HISTORIES, ART AND CULTURAL COLLECTIONS FROM THE LOCAL GEOGRAPHIC AREA. PROVIDE EDUCATION ON THE HISTORY OF THE AREA TO LOCAL RESIDENTS, VISITORS, SCHOOL GROUPS, SCOUTS AND SENIOR CITIZENS GROUPS. PROVIDE CULTURAL EDUCATIONAL EXHIBITS, DEMONSTRATIONS, RECITALS, AND SHOWS. THERE IS CURRENTLY 1,010 PHOTOGRAPHS, 1,154 LIBRARY ITEMS AND 1,785 OTHER ITEMS IN THE COLLECTIONS. THERE WERE 7,000 PEOPLE THAT CAME THROUGH THE MUSEUM DURING THE YEAR. WE HAD 7,600 HOURS OF VOLUNTEER TIME DONATED.
RESTORATION OF THE OLD FAIRVIEW CITY HALL. RECIEVED GRANT THIS YEAR FOR THE RESTORATION. BEGAN PRELIMANARY WORK.
