THE ORRIN G. HATCH FOUNDATION IS AN INCUBATOR FOR POLICY SCHOLARSHIP, A FORUM FOR POLITICAL DISCOURSE, A SPRINGBOARD FOR CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, AND A WORLD-CLASS REPOSITORY OF MODERN AMERICAN LEGISLATIVE HISTORY KNOWN AS THE ORRIN G. HATCH COLLECTION.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO HOST NUMEROUS SENATORS, FOREIGN POLICY EXPERTS, INDUSTRY LEADERS, AND LEADING SCHOLARS TO DISCUSS THE CHALLENGES FACING OUR COUNTRY. IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL EVENTS ARE PERIODICALLY HELD, ADDRESSING LEGISLATIVE ISSUES OF THE DAY AND BRINGING STAKEHOLDERS TOGETHER FOR CIVIL, BIPARTISAN SOLUTIONS. 2023 SAW THE CONTINUATION OF THE SENATE PROJECT DEBATE SERIES, WITH SENATORS PARTICIPATING IN DEBATES IN JUNE AND SEPTEMBER. THE YEAR'S POLICY PROGRAMMING INCLUDED A CONGRESSIONAL CLIMATE BOOTCAMP IN WASHINGTON, DC, A WEBINAR HIGHLIGHTING INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS IN JUNE, AND A WEBINAR DISCUSSING 30 YEARS OF THE RELIGIOUS FREEDOM RESTORATION ACT IN NOVEMBER. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO DEDICATED AN INTERN HOUSING FACILITY IN DC AND HELD ITS INAUGURAL TITAN OF PUBLIC SERVICE GALA.
