REGULATE ADMISSION OF PERSONS SEEKING TO PRACTICE LAW IN THE STATE OF UTAH THROUGH COLLECTION OF MANDATORY LICENSING FEES, ADMINISTRATION OF BAR EXAMINATIONS, AND CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION.
REGULATE AND DISCIPLINE ATTORNEYS PRACTICING LAW IN THE STATE OF UTAH THROUGH THE INVESTIGATION OF COMPLAINTS AND PROSECUTING CASES WHERE APPROPRIATE.
PROMOTE PROFESSIONALISM AND COMPETENCE IN THE PRACTICE OF LAW PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO ATTORNEYS BY MEANS OF SEMINARS AND ANNUAL CONFERENCES.
PROMOTE LOW COST AND/OR FREE LEGAL SERVICES TO THE PUBLIC, ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE AVENUES, AND PRO BONO SERVICES. REGULATE AND APPROVE CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION PRESENTED WITHIN THE STATE OF UTAH.
