EARLY CHILDHOOD - THE EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER (ECC) SERVED 124 PRESCHOOL CHILDREN DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR. THE ECC PROVIDES A QUALITY LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FOR YOUNG CHILDREN AGES 18 MONTHS-5 YEAR FOCUSING ON SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL, PHYSICAL, AND COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT. CHILDREN ARE EXPOSED TO MANY POSITIVE EXPERIENCES INCLUDING JEWISH TRADITIONS AND CUSTOMS.
YOUTH PROGRAMS - THE YOUTH DEPARTMENT PROVIDED AN ARRAY OF EXPERIENCES FOR 78 SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN AGES 6-12 DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR AND IN THE SUMMER OVER 274 PARTICIPANTS ENROLLED IN THE YOUTH SUMMER CAMP. CHILDREN ARE EXPOSED TO MANY POSITIVE EXPERIENCES INCLUDING JEWISH TRADITIONS AND CUSTOMS. BOTH OF THESE YOUTH PROGRAMS FOCUS ON SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT, BUILDING FRIENDSHIPS, SPORTS, SWIMMING, ART, FIELD TRIPS, AND STEM SKILLS.
