OUR MISSION IS TO INSPIRE HOPE FOR THE COMMUNITY. HOPE VALLEY'S VISION IS TO HELP OTHERS THROUGH PERSONAL EXPERIEINCES, CREATING THE OPPORTUNITY FOR HOPE. WE AIM TO BREAK THE STIGMA OF MENTAL HEALTH AND CONNECT WITH OTHERS THROUGH THE BEAUTY OF NATURE, ADVENTURE, PERSONAL CONNECTION AND FAITH. WE ARE A MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS RETREAT CENTER WITH A WIDE RANGE OF THERAPEUTIC PROGRAMS THAT PROMOTE WELLNESS AND HEALING FOR INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, AND THE COMMUNITY.

EXPERIENCE HOPE - PEER MENTORING PROGRAM THAT PAIRS A PERSON IN NEED OF SUPPORT WITH A TRAINED VOLUNTEER WHO HAS A SHARED EXPERIENCE. ESTABLISHING A CONNECTION WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS HAD A SIMILAR JOURNEY AND HAS WALKED IN YOUR SHOES AND PROVIDES VALUABLE INSIGHT, COMFORT, ENCOURAGEMENT AND HOPE. OUR MENTORS BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH THEIR MENTEE THAT CAN REMOVE FEELINGS OF ISOLATION, EMBARRASSMENT, CONFUSION, AND DEFEAT. THIS PROGRAM WAS DEVELOPED IN 2021 AND WAS OFFERED BEGINNING IN 2022.HOPE BEHIND THE BADGE - THE MISSION OF HOPE BEHIND THE BADGE IS TO CLOSE THE GAP BETWEEN OUR YOUTH, THE COMMUNITY AND FIRST RESPONDERS. THIS PROGRAM IS HELD BY FIRST RESPONDERS AND HOPE VALLEY; TOGETHER WE PROVIDE AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR YOUTH TO EXPERIENCE PERSONAL TIME WITH SOMEONE COMPLETELY FOCUSED ON THEM. THE PROGRAM LONG TERM GOALS ARE CENTERED ON HELPING YOUTH MAKE HEALTHY LIFE CHOICES AND IMPLEMENTING COPING HABITS AND TRUSTING OUR FIRST RESPONDERS. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE FISHING, BASKETBALL, EXPLORING THE WOODS, LEARNING ABOUT NATURE, TRAIL WALKS, YOGA, GAMES, CRAFTS, WELLNESS ACTIVITIES AND LEARNING TOOLS FOR SELF-CARE. HOPE BEHIND THE BADGE ALSO OFFERS WOMEN'S SELF-DEFENSE CLASSES LED BY FEMALE LAW ENFORCEMENT. TRAINING IN SELF DEFENSE HELPS WOMEN DEVELOP MORE CONFIDENCE IN THEMSELVES AND THEIR SURROUNDINGS. KNOWING THAT YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO DEFEND YOURSELF INCREASES CONFIDENCE AND CAN HELP YOU FEEL LESS ANXIOUS IN PUBLIC. THIS PROGRAM WAS DEVELOPED IN 2021 AND WAS OFFERED BEGINNING IN 2022.
