Describe the Organization's Mission:

Part 3 - Line 1

MYANMAR IMPACT FUND IS AN INTERNATIONAL RELIEF ORGANIZATION HELPING THE VULNERABLE DISTRESSED PERSONS IN MYANMAR (BURMA) WHO ARE VICTIMS OF HUMANITARIAN DISASTERS CAUSED BY AN ATTEMPTED MILITARY COUP.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE MYANMAR IMPACT FUND (MIF) WAS INCORPORATED IN APRIL 2021, AND IN THE SECOND YEAR OF ITS OPERATIONS, MIF'S PROGRAM EXPENSES TOTALED $4,523 WHILE ITS NET REVENUES AMOUNTED TO $245. CONSEQUENTLY, MIF HAD AN EXCESS OF $4,278 OF OPERATING EXPENSES OVER OPERATING REVENUES DURING THIS PERIOD. THIS IS ATTRIBUTED TO AN INCREASE IN PROGRAM SPENDING FOR SPECIAL SERVICES FOR FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND OTHER RESOURCES NEEDED TO IMPROVE PROGRAM MANAGEMENT, AS WELL AS A DECREASE IN DONATIONS. TO COVER THE PROGRAM EXPENSES, MIF UTILIZED THE RESERVE FUNDS (LAST YEAR'S EXCESS OF REVENUE OVER EXPENDITURE) THAT WERE SET ASIDE DURING THE YEAR. MIF'S OVERARCHING GOAL IS TO ALLEVIATE THE SUFFERING OF THE MYANMAR PEOPLE DUE TO THE UNPRECEDENTED HUMANITARIAN CATASTROPHE CREATED BY MEN BY SUPPORTING ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS PROVIDING HUMANITARIAN AID TO THOSE IN NEED. THE ORGANIZATION REMAINS COMMITTED TO FUNDRAISING AND IMPLEMENTING PROGRAM SERVICES ACTIVITIES IN LINE WITH ITS PROGRAM OBJECTIVES AND MISSION. HOWEVER, IT IS WORTH NOTING THAT IN THE SECOND YEAR OF OPERATIONS, THE SIZE OF EXPENSES AND REVENUES OF MIF PROGRAMS REMAINED SMALL. DUE TO THE UNIQUE NATURE OF THE CRISIS AND THE MYANMAR DIASPORA CONSTITUTING THE MAJORITY OF DONORS, MORE DONATIONS WERE MADE FOR TARGETED BENEFICIARIES INFLUENCED BY THEIR PLACE OF ORIGIN AND/OR RELATIONSHIPS.
