IAF INC SERVED AS A FISCAL SPONSOR TO RECEIVE MONIES FROM NIA TERO AND REDISTRIBUTE THESE FUNDS TO NEW AGE WARRIORS FOR THE ROOT FILM PROJECT. ROOT IS AN INTERDISCIPLINARY COLLABORATIVE FILM PROJECT BY THE GROUP NEW AGE WARRIORS AND SPONSORED BY THE US-BASED NON-PROFIT NIA TERO. THE PROJECT AIMS TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE RESILIENCE OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLE WITH A FOCUS ON THE SOTRIES, WATERWAYS, HARVESTING CYCLES AND SALMON RESTORATION EFFORTS OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST. NIA TERO IS A NON -PROFIT BASED IN SEATTLE, WA, THAT IS WORKING IN SOLIDARITY WITH INDIGENOUS PEOPLES AND MOVEMENTS WORLDWIDE.

THERE WAS NATIVE AMERICAN POW WOW DANCING, AZTECA DANCING AND OTHER TYPES OF DANCING, MUSIC, AND PERFORMANCES. NUWU ART, LLC, DONATED RENTAL SPACE FOR THE EVENT AND OUR VOLUNTEERS COLLECTED $1,135 TOTAL. EXPENSES WERE $456 TOTAL IN A GRANT GIVEN TO JUAN CUEVAS OF QUEZTAL VISIONS. REVENUE TOTALED $679 AND WAS OUR LARGEST SINGLE-DAY FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR. THE EVENT WAS A SUCCESS WITH AROUND 300 ATTENDEES.

ELEVEN PARTICIPANTS VISISTED LAS VEGAS AND PRESENTED INSIGHTS FROM INDIGENOUS PERSPECTIVES, DISCUSSED NON-PROFIT ENTITIES, SETTING UP AND MAINTAINING A NON-PROFIT ETC. FINAL FRIDAYS, MARCH THROUGH DECEMBERIAF INC SPONSORS A MONTHLY GATHERING ON THE LAST FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH FROM MARCH 2021 TO DECEMBER 2021 WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILIES WHERE WE BUILD COMMUNITY THROUGH LIVE ART MAKING, CULTURAL EXCHANGE, FOOD AND MUSIC. ART PROJECTS HAVE INCLUDED: PAINTING, WRITING, AND DANCING WORKSHOPS. EXPENSES ARE $100 PER EVENT FOR DJ AND TOTALLED $800 FOR THE YEAR. MEXICA NEW YEAR EVENTON MARCH 13, 2021 WE CELEBRATED THE AZTEC NEW YEAR THROUGH AN INDIGENOUS ALLIES AND FAMILIES OUTDOORS EVENT.
