WE CONNECT COMMUNITIES AND GROW TOMORROW'S ARTISTS WITH AFFORDABLE TICKET PRICES EVENTS AND WORKSHOPS. AT CEDAR SUMMERSTOCK THEATRE WE BELIEVE THAT THE ARTS HAVE THE POWER TO TRANSFORM LIVES. OUR COMMITMENT TO QUALITY PRODUCTIONS AND UNIQUE THEATER EXPERIENCES WILL CONTINUE TO EARN US A PLACE AMONG THE BEST.

SUMMERSTOCK THEATER PRODUCTIONS: CEDAR SUMMERSTOCK THEATRE CST ANNUALLY PRODUCES FOUR MUSICAL THEATER PRODUCTIONS IN RURAL MITCHELL COUNTY IOWA. CST'S APPROACH IS CENTERED AROUND CREATING PRODUCTIONS THAT ENGAGE AUDIENCES AND CULTIVATE THE TALENTS OF OUR ACTORS DIRECTORS AND THEATER PROFESSIONALS. CST IS PASSIONATE ABOUT PROMOTING AND SUPPORTING THE ARTS AND CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR EVERYONE TO EXPERIENCE THE TRANSFORMATIVE POWER OF THEATER. CST INCREASED THE SEASON'S ATTENDANCE BY 28% OVER THE PRIOR YEAR INCLUDING AN EFFORT TO INCREASE GROUP SALES. CST CONTINUES TO ATTRACT COLLEGE CAST AND CREW FROM COLLEGE PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE US.
CABARETS: CEDAR SUMMERSTOCK THEATRE'S TALENTED COLLEGE CAST TAKE THEIR ACT ON THE ROAD AND PERFORM AT LOCAL VENUES IN AND AROUND THE MITCHELL COUNTY AREA.
BUILDING OPERATION & MANAGEMENT: CST ACQUIRED LAND BUILDING AND EQUIPMENT FROM ANOTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION IN MITCHELL COUNTY IOWA. CST TOOK OVER THE MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION OF A 35,000 SQUARE FOOT FORMER SCHOOL BUILDING AND ADJACENT GROUNDS AS A MIXED-USE COMMUNITY BUILDING. CST HOUSES A VARIETY OF LONG-TERM TENANTS IN FORMER CLASSROOMS AND ALSO HOST SHORT-TERM RENTERS WHO USE THE BUILDING ON AN HOURLY OR DAILY BASIS FOR PRIVATE EVENTS. REVENUE IS FROM LEASES AND RENTALS EXPENSES ARE THOSE ASSOCIATED WITH BUILDING MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENTS.
